Build charges what each step actually uses, with a margin we keep fixed. Before a step runs you see the most it can cost. We reserve that amount, run the step, charge the real cost (never more than you were shown) and return the rest straight away. If a step fails, is stopped or produces nothing usable, you are not charged. Applying changes to GitHub is free, and so is undoing them.

More capable models cost us more to run, so a change uses more credits on them. Fast is the default and the cheapest. Balanced and Frontier suit bigger or harder changes. We never switch you to a dearer model on our own, and if a model is busy we only fall back to one that costs us the same or less, still charged at the model you chose.

If you run through your monthly credits, Pro and Team can buy a pack: 200 credits for A$15 or 750 credits for A$49 (GST included). Packs are used after your monthly credits, last 1 year from purchase (the expiry is shown), and stay yours if you cancel your plan. Unused packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase.

Credits pay for generation. Most actions use a fixed number of credits, listed above; Build charges what each step uses, quoted first. Failed generations are not charged.

You get 30 credits once, when you sign up. That's about 3 complete runs (template, persona, journey, portrait and a GitHub sync), enough to see what you'd get. They don't refill: Pro and Team plans add credits every 30 days.

Every plan includes research, journeys, your saved library, GitHub sync and visual assets. Pro adds credits every 30 days and Markdown and PDF downloads. Team adds a shared library, roles, and one pool of credits for the whole team.

Anyone can create a team and invite people as free viewers, who can open, favourite and copy the team's personas and journeys. The Team plan, bought by the team's owner, adds 3 editors who create and edit together, and 1,500 shared credits every 30 days. Extra editors are A$25 a month each and add 300 credits. The owner can set a monthly limit per person, and choose whether people can use their own credits when the team's run out.

It's a Persona Journey plan and a plan for SocialCraft, our social campaign app, on one bill. Persona-to-Post is Pro with SocialCraft Starter and 800 credits every 30 days. Persona-to-Post Team is Team with SocialCraft Growth and 2,800 shared credits for the team. Link SocialCraft to your Persona Journey account and it spends from the same credits, so there is one balance to watch. Credits refill every 30 days and don't carry over. You can switch between a plan and its Persona-to-Post version from “Manage”.

Generation pauses until your credits refill or you upgrade. Upgrading mid-cycle adds the difference to your balance straight away. Free credits don't refill.

Nothing until 31 March 2027: you keep your price and credits. If you're on the earlier Team plan, you can also create a team with 3 editors at no extra cost; its work uses your plan's credits. We'll email you at least 30 days before anything changes.

Writing, rewriting, templates, reading uploaded images and scans, and code-trace suggestions run only on an AI service hosted in Sydney, which doesn't keep your prompts or results. Your saved library is already held in Sydney, and you can move your account into our Sydney database too. Web research, images, music, narration and payments still use overseas services, and the Studio marks them. If the Australian service is down, those actions wait rather than going overseas. Scans can be read only when each page is stored as a photo, which is how most scanners save them; otherwise upload the pages as images or a text PDF. It's A$19 a month on Pro or A$59 a month on Team, and writing actions cost 1.5× the usual credits, rounded up. Build is the exception: it is charged by use with no extra multiplier, and a Sovereign workspace uses the Open model, which runs in Sydney itself.

Yes, from “Manage” on this page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

No. Paid credits refill to your allowance every 30 days (they never stack up), and free credits are given once. Credits have no cash value. Personas and journeys you've generated stay in your library and your GitHub repo.
